I have a semp that looks to be blooming. I thought that the parent plant bloomed from the center, but that's not what this one is doing. The offsets seem to be blooming? I know after blooming the parent plants die.Should i expect this plant to die.

One of the "offsets" broke off the parent plant what can i do with it,since it isn't a rosette but flower buds will it root as easily as normal offsets?

The center of this plant doesn't look anything like what i thought a blooming Semp was suppose to look like?? Confused Do some types bloom differently than others? the offsets are turning up almost seem to be trying to stand up as much as possible considering there long length.I recently put the plant in the pot it's in,so i could watch it more closely.I can't always get out to the garden & didn't want to miss what it is going to do

A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
