Thanks for the link, Lisa. It looks like Graceful Gardens is a great place to find vintage plants. I wish I had known about them when I lived in NJ.
The plants for my garden here in alpine AZ have unique requirements. They need to be frost tolerant. And they need to be extremely drought tolerant. Not too many nurseries have a high percentage of plants in both categories. So far, I think High Country Gardens and Annie's seem to have a fair batting average. I did get some Tasmanian euphorbia from Bluestone last year that are not yet dead. Their sedums and lavenders, though, perished in the summer sun despite regular watering.
