First i have a question about the semp that's blooming. Why do i need to cut the stolon's off? I have never seen a semp bloom & would love to watch it bloom, that's why i took it out of the bed & put it in a pot.I have more of the same semp that has offsets,so i won't be loosing that variety of semp.If i cut them off they won't bloom but die correct. Crying

The other semp,it sprinkled just enough to wet the top of the soil.I pushed the dirt over to see if it had rained over night and i slept through it or something and it was bone dry/dusty even under the top.The compost i use is really dark & when it gets the slightest bit wet it looks really dark. It's not as wet as it seems. We are having very hot dry weather, except for that one light shower. The plant did have some bruises when i bought it but it was the best looking one. Shrug! I took more pictures yesterday here they are.Tell me what yall think.I took a picture from more than one side of 'Hopewell'

Because of yall's advice i am keeping a closer eye on the 'Hopewell' thank you all.
I haven't had time to get on-line much but i value everyones opinion and i make the time when i get a new plant or something new happens.Have to know what all of you think.

These of the blooming semp was taken yesterday, the parent plant seems to look a little different. The leaves are pointing more upright.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
