Thank you Josephine!! That is exactly what it is! I'm not worried about the correct name. I think it might grow okay from seed, since there is a good sized area with it, but it doesn't seem to be too invasive, as I didn't find it anywhere else between my house and where it's growing. It was only on one side of the road, too. I'll have to find some info on growing it. I think it would look great on the hillside!
