I'm not too sure we have the right pic of Mount Usher, yet, I've been digging around the net since i got my plant. on a German site are 3 pics 1 from SMG looks like Janice's pic,not 100% sure but these 2 looks to have Watermarks on the leaves and the other 2 pic on the site appear to be clear and are a more rose Red (here is a link
http://www.semperhorst.de/dieh... MB - MZ/diehmor MB - MZ.htm Another site has a clear 1 but much darker burgundy . But all that said it all depends on the type of dirt and the amount of sunlight. the plant gets.
Here is an example of Ashes of Roses i took these pic today after i got Chris's email
pic #1 is in the front near a fence and gets about 2 hrs of full sun between 11 am to 1pm bright light but no more sun than that and is planted in fairly hard dirt in the ground
pic 2 is in front but on opposite side of yard-gets about 4 hrs of full sun between 10 am & after 3 it is shaded by tree from the sun2pm
pic 3 is in back of house and gets about 2 hrs of full evening sun around 4:30 to 6:30
Pic 4 is in front and gets about 2 hrs. of full overhead sun from about 3 to 5 pm the last 3 are all in potting soil in planters
