I think gardens are incomplete unless there are people in them. A garden is a feast for the senses, a connection to the broader world of life and beauty, and yet a private oasis in the wilderness. It is only fitting that people be represented in them. And water. I love the energy and life that water features bring, though maybe my location in the desert influences that.
