Pat, I grow celosia as well. I used to just grow the Chinatown Red which has a beautiful bright red stem as well as a bright red plume, very similar to your picture. Now I do the Bombay, Pampas and other varieties. I use lots of celosia for fillers in my cut flower bouquets. I start mine from seed but it will reseed very well. I have lots of volunteers in the garden. Mine is just starting to bloom. I will take some photos when they are open a bit more so you can see. I especially love the green plumes. And they blossom ALL SUMMER!!!
