Jovi heuffelii need to be divided to propagate them (Hot Lips is a heuffelii). Cut between the rosettes, being careful to get portions of root on each half. The blooming rosette will die. However, if you divide the rosette in half, being careful to keep root on each half, it is likely that one half will survive.

So my advice: Divide the plant into two rosettes, then further cut the blooming rosette in half. Let dry a day or two, then plant. Keep a bit on the dry side until you see signs of growth, then resume normal care. If you are not concerned about loosing the blooming rosette, do nothing and enjoy the flower. The second rosette of the plant should survive the blooming and produce more plants for you.
