I used to have a section of my garden divided into two parts -- the rose nursery, where the new baby rose bushes were pampered, and the rose hospital, where the gopher victims were coaxed back to life. As the quantity of my plants increased, the section was taken over by new beds for plants that needed a place to grow. Containers now have to serve as the pampering place for my new and ailing plants.
