Thank you Smiling

So happy to be able to share a special little part of our gardening journey.

Funny how things work out. I wrote this a week ago after it being on my mind for quite some time. Then two days ago we drove out to purchase some hardy ground cover from a large nursery that specializes in succulents. On our way back through the countryside we noticed a sign that said "hosta headquarters" so we drove in through the treed entrance and into a garden centre that had all the character of Brickmans. Started 60 years ago by the father, the daughters and father still have a thriving business. No big fancy greenhouses, just lots of lovely evergreens, and hostas, and japanese maples ... and garlic, strawberries and raspberries and good old fashioned service. Yes we bought hostas home with us and yes we will be going back soon : )
