Oh, yeah--congrats on the flower on your Golden Crown! It's what they call a Thai socotranum, actually a hybridized arabicum. I have little 3-week old seedlings of Thai soco S1/Golden Bell and 2 types...and I use the term "little" loosely as they're much bigger than my obesum seedlings that are almost 2 weeks older. Like Melissa said, the arabicums and Thai socos are grown for the caudex shape/size and bonsai potential than for their blooms, which are almost always small and some variation of pink.

As for your Naked Paris (also called Violet City) your flower looks almost nothing like what it should be--though it IS very nice! Is this a grafted obesum or from seed of Naked Paris? I also have a few 1 month old seedlings of this type--if they bloom with a flower anything like yours I will be elated!
