‘Sitting Pretty’ is very pretty to look at but very, very slow to grow. It developed a 2nd eye in its 4th year with me. Now in it’s 7th year, it still has just 2 eyes.
I’ve had ‘Spilt Milk’ for 7 or 8 years; so I guess I can call it mature. I’ve seen some with more milk spilt, but this one seems to do well.
‘Stained Glass’ is about 9 years old. I had it for several years in my dark corner and it did nothing. It likes this location south of my oak tree which is close to the street.
‘Summer Breeze’ I’ve had for at least a decade. Love the way it lights up the garden.
‘Summer Music’ also spent some time in the dark corner before being moved. But this one is a very slow grower.
‘Tears of Joy’ is a very tiny hosta, but quite a fast grower. This was acquired in 2010.
‘Tick Tock’ forms a very dense mound very quickly. When I last divided mine 2 years ago, I replanted it in several sections, but you’d hardly know it now.
