I have to put more weave on mine also and I just did two days ago. This rain is making those tomatoes grow like crazy. Sorry about the critters getting into the lower growing tomatoes.

So far my squash have only gotten powdery mildew, no bugs. Hoping it stays that way and that the mildew doesn't get too bad.

Arlene, my veggie beds are heavily mulched like everything else around here. And that root bed area has no weeds cause it is so new, no time for weeds to get going.
