I don't mind the horn worms because they turn into beautiful Hummingbird Moths.
I always plant a few sacrificial tomato plants at the back of the yard where I can transfer any worms to. They can live out their life cycle on those plants and my "eating" tomatoes stay safe. They also like Nicotiana.
