One of my wife's many interest includes pottery. Here is a ceramic birdbath she made. The base of this bath was made to look like an old tree stump.

One of her requirements is that all birdbaths be colorful This one is full of water from the rain yet still shows the the very vivid colors of the basin.

She is not content to have a birdbath that is not colorful. Here is one that was purchased and then colorized to her liking.

Every winter on the cold dreary days she is in the studio creating something. Having pieces in the yard that she has created is pretty special.
