When I tried to give an acorn
from a thread under a Tip, I got the error listed below.
While collecting info for a bug report, I opened up the single post to find its URL.
Then I tried giving the acorn
from that single post, and it worked.
I tried several times, unsuccessfully, from the Tip-thread.
I did check that I had typed "1" (digit one), not "l" (letter L).
I also tried 1.00, unsuccessfully.
The odd thing is, over the last few days I have given 1 acorn from threads
in forums with no problems.
Edited to add: Confirmed! I just gave 0.5 acorns from a forum thread.
