A couple months ago I bought 9 Ixora shrubs to replace the red tips in front of the house. They were doing fine until this past week I noticed that on 4 of the plants the leaves were turning brown and then falling off. I've been watering them all the same about every day to every other day. The other plants look perfect. Does anyone have any idea what might have caused these shrubs to turn brown and lose it's leaves? The plants are at the front of my house facing West so they get plenty of afternoon sun. Late afternoon they are partly shaded by a pretty tall oak tree.
