Well I'm crossing fingers you get a nice crop of zukes, no matter what!

By the way, I actually staked my zuke plants one year and would tie the main stalk to the stake (like a tomato stake) and it worked great! Zukes were up off the ground and hanging like Christmas tree ornaments. I don't know much about southern Maine weather but maybe you can have fun trying that, too. (I guess I picture Maine as always being a bit on the cool side.)
