Hi there

just wanted to share my back breaking news

I bought Black Kow compost from Lowes

I have used it before on perennials and it is fabulous!
It is black and crunbly and use has a great feel to it..

I added it to ny part clay soil and raked it in
transplanted iris today ..in the triangle pattern..also put some bulb food near them.

It was so Hot and so humid today and wet..raining on ne
but I got it done!

I made sure if there was any rhizone on the transplant to make sure
it was like an alligator in the river..half of it exosed or at least one third
to the sun in zone 8..

I may have to go out a few tines this month to nake sure the rain does not wash them up..

it looks bare now but in May it was lush and full in the flower bed

The salvias grew so big I had to remove them this year
Black and Blue ..they grow 6 foot by 5 foot here per plant
