There are over 70,000 named daylilies. Lots and lots of them look alike. Plus there are thousands of unnamed seedlings in people's gardens.

Since this was given to you with the wrong name, can you go back to the person you got it from and find out where they bought it? You might be able to look at that sellers website for clues.

Personally, I don't try to ID them once the name is lost or found to be wrong. I would enjoy it with a tag that says "noID #1" or something like that. I have a couple of them that I have had for years!
