Got some pictures of the roses that were tempting to open, but hadn't opened yet. I'm posting a side-by-side of a standard picture, then with a longer aperture (ISO400).

Kordes Brillant with Shocking Blue to the right & Sir John Betjeman behind. You can see the yellow tones in the "washed" picture, which doesn't really show in the darker.
