ERk, not Golden Celebration, Golden Masterpiece (I have 3 of them?). Oh well, I don't have Golden Celebration.. tried growing it once and it croaked almost immediately so I decided no on that one. LOL

Anyways, new pictures for today. Today's been a hot as hell day.. in the mid 90s I swear. I had to do some major rework on my mulch (used crappy weedblock fabric which I had to rip all out and put down good weedfabric, and I am suffering from it now with the extreme heat. I was smart and put a bandana around my forehead to capture all the sweat and didn't wear my glasses.. and when I came in about an hour and half later, I was able to squeeze about 1/4 cup of sweat out of the bandana (GROSS!!!). But I did get most of my work outside done before 1pm, and started working on the inside.. I must have been a totally evil person in a previous life because I definitely get NO rest! LOL!! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

I took some pictures around 11am this morning of some of the nicer looking roses in the side/back yard. The front yard is just totally abloom .. all but 2 roses are actually blooming so it's looking super sweet. But, with the heat of the day, most of the blooms went BLEH so I wasn't able to get a good shot this afternoon of the whole yard. I'm aiming for a whole-yard shot this Wednesday before it hits 100+ on Thursday. So here's some pix. And before anyone comments on how lush & green the foliage looks without a speck of blackspot anywhere.. realize that it's because we haven't had any decent moisture really this year (we're still heavily in a drought) and I haven't watered the yard in over a week. We got some rain last weekend (17-19th) of about an 1"+, but that's almost it for the entire month. So, yes, no blackspot. But at the same time, my water bill is ridiculous.
