Hi Tony
This picture was taken in the early evening after an afternoon of rain. So the light was muted. I do not use Photoshop at all. I also have an older digital camera....not the latest and greatest. Where 'Strobelight Seduction' is planted is on a mountain slope slightly under a forest of trees. The sunlight is filtered through the tall Maple tree branches. I don't own any filters for my camera, and to be honest with you I would not know how to use them if I had them. I am an amateur photographer, 71 yrs old, who just uses my camera for casual use. I will say that because of the enormous amount of rain we have had this Summer, my daylilies are thriving, and from first flower through the bloom cycle the changes in color is at times very dramatic. We have had 54 days of rain in June and into July, followed by a huge warmup and 90 degree heat for almost 2 weeks, and now back to nights with temps in the 40's, and 70 degree days. The gardens and plants are going through quite a metamorphosis as our weather keeps changing. This is 'Strobelight Seduction's' 2nd full summer in my garden. It is a lovely flower.
