Its odd how people think.
I lived next to a woman who came from a big city environment.I guess she thought she was a farmer on her 40X120 foot lot.She started a garden,read books etc.
One day I saw her laying lengths of 1x6 lumber along the fence line and asked her was she making a raised bed. She said she didnt want the insects from my yard to come into her yard and eat the squash.
