Well I am beginning to think that Brian is probably right. It seems as if there are a lot of same plants out there that are labeled differently. Lin I just posted an Aglaonema that came to me from Glasshouse Works that is labeled 'Black Cherry' but it looks like an identical plant to your Aglaonema 'Crete'. 
Interesting to say the least. Whatever the Philo is it is a beautiful addition.
