I almost killed my Sans two years ago, having left it outdoors during winter, in the cold and in the rain. Had to repot much smaller, kept it indoors for about a year, and took awhile to recover. But it did, though it has reverted to just green coloring. This summer it is outdoors, but in the shadier side of my patio, and gets daily watering. It is enjoying that daily morning shower especially when our temps goes above 90's to 100's..it is so happy to get refreshed by water.

I am learning a lot from it..applied similar water drenching to my other succulents, hoyas, orchids, amaryllis, epiphyllums, cycads etc..and all of them much improved. I guess in my area since it is very, very dry, and very warm, during summer the plants will not mind daily watering since Mother Nature has none to give for us at this time of the year, and besides all my plants are in containers..so the dry out is faster too.
