You are right Stush, it did the reverse variegation on the leaf cuttings that I managed to salvage from the dying mother plant.

This was the mother plant, when it was severely stressed in Feb 2011. The plant was collapsing already from the base. Leaves folding and breaking, so sad when this happened then.

After letting it dry out & repotted, I was left with this for about a year, very slow growing and recovery:

I repotted again in a smaller clay container, and in late spring brought it out to our shady side of patio. Summer came, and the heat waves, watering daily..and plant is much better..all new growth are green with waves of white..oh well..at least still alive and going stronger now:
