Cinda ~ thanks! I don't know how I lost this thread but came back here to look at the types of seeds as I was shopping for fall seeds. I appreciate your suggestion of French tarragon but it despises the heat and humidity here. I love it and have tried and killed it twice. As a result I grow the Texas tarragon here. The taste may be a bit more coarse but still the licorice flavor. I just took cuttings of it and dried it by the pilot light. The oven smelled wonderful while it was drying.
