Oh the diversity of seeds.

Unlike cloning which is growing from a stem or cutting from a plant which will produce an exact copy of the oriental, each seed is different just like every snowflake is different just like each of us is different.

Just imagine cutting an arm off and growing another you, and you can grow your arm back. That is the way the plant world is.

My cactus Cereus peruvianus seeds has turned out. I have short ones, skinny ones, tall ones, fat ones, some with 4 sides and most with 5 sides. Most are light green but one is purplish. Most of all, I got some with spirals which I really wanted. Maybe only 3 or 4 came out with a spiral. Some lightly, one more so. The mother plant also had spirals along with straights and some times on the same branch!

All I sent out plant seedlings to, show us how they turned out.
