I was recently given a bag full of iris rhyzomes by a co-worker. All I know about them is that they are bearded and they are white. I have a couple of questions as I have never grown iris before, although I have always admired them. Here we go!
1. What side of the house should I plant these on?
2. What sort of bed should I dig (soil, etc); I have red clay so will I need to build a raised bed?
3. What time of year should I plant these.
