Neat idea... I'm going to be adding a few around my house... after making sure that I don't destroy any of the desirable naturals...

I've also seen the Malvaviscus arboreus used as a foundation planting as the first post shows, but I think it is nicer in an area where it has room to spread... those people who try to tame that beauty... are missing out... or something. Beautiful hummingbird / butterfly plant!
