Summerwood - Houston (Zone 9b)
They are zones 4 to 8, I'm in 8B. I went ahead and purchased some, I placed them with new soil under my Red Maple back in May. Then just recently, I purchased some caladiums to go between, as the Hakones were quite small, they were in tiny 4" pots. I noticed when I went to dig my holes for the caladiums, that "the soil" I had placed earlier, had become very fibrous, tiny root like fibers everywhere? Is this from the Red Maple you think? Confused
