Mums are a dime a dozen here and sell mostly in October. People like to decorate with them at Halloween, I got tired of mums because they get big so fast and only bloom one or two weeks out of the year. They bud in May or June but you must whack them off by a third (I believe) so they will come back and bloom in the fall. One year I did not prune mine and they were three feet high and wide and fell over and made a big mess. Great if you have a big yard and like cut flowers. LOL.

I would like to try the Match Stick Mums, they are so cool. Green Grin!

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
