When I was little, I ran around without shoes a lot. Poor family, good shoes cost money, so I only wore my cheapie shoes occasionally (church and school, mostly). But I had all KINDS of problems because of going barefoot. I made sure my own daughter had nice shoes and wore them a lot. Oh, Lin...OUCH! I cut my feet also from time to time, but never that bad!
