It was always cold and you never went without warm coats. There were areas up on top that there was still snow at the end of the summer. But we were young and probably didn't have much sense.

If you go in the summer and go through Cenntenial and up to Sugar Loaf on the top, that was my most favorite place in the Snowies. We would climb way up on top and I don't know if I could do it now, but there were plants up there I didn't see anywhere else in all our trips through the Mountains, and we lived in Laramie for 18 years and had use of a cabin for a number of years so we spent a lot of time there.
