Right away I googled plumeria and because the pod was what I'd consider huge 4 times the size of an adenium pod, it advised picking it and putting it in a brown paper bag. Hope I got this right. It was too high on the tree or bush to wrap with wire. The pod feels sort of mushy I wonder if that's normal.
