to ATP, Sara!
We grow asparagus ferns outside in summer, and indoors in winter. They are kind of messy, but easy to grow. In the winter, they get inedible red berries. I like putting them in a basket with other plants. They have really cool nodules on the roots where they store water if they have a neglectful owner like me. I've had their roots get so big they bust the flower pot! The tops grow much better if the roots are crowded, though.
