And in the end...a happy beginning!
I helped beta test the Garden Planting Calendar Charter ATP Member Garden Sages Hosted a Not-A-Raffle-Raffle I sent a postcard to Randy! I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!

What a great and informative podcast! Maybe this one should appear on the Plants Database homepage with a "learn nearly everything you need to know about the great features of the Plants Database". And I say 'nearly' because I have no doubt there will be constant improvement and new additions to the database as it continues to grow, things that weren't covered today because they may not exist yet.

I really liked hearing it compared to "a skyscraper and we're still populating the floors"...excellent description!

Although I've not added as much as many other folks to the Database I sure have discovered how efficient the moderators are. I'm impressed how quick they are to respond to submissions, questions, proposals, etc, and it's all done as if you're sitting on the front porch talking to your good friend(s). It sure makes it much funner (<-- I know, I know, sorry, it's my Southern choice of words) to be a part of things.

Great job, Dave and Trish. I'm glad I didn't miss this one.
And to all you moderators, thanks a gazillion for excellent input, corrections, acceptions and exceptions and, and...well, no doubt the list could go on and on.
Lastly, big time thanks to all those members/non-moderators who've contributed photos, input, descriptions, suggestions, etc, whether it is one entry or hundreds (or thousands like some people I know.)

Best, to all,
Shoe
