Many of the things we grow have short bloom seasons but they are so beautiful that they are worth it. Here is Ezra Pound in a friends garden. It receives morning sun. The blossoms only last a few days but it is so spectacular it is still worth. This plant is 10+ years old. Oops.....I'm going to have to look for the picture......
