I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
There is a pink flowering one that is on the NM rare plant list http://nmrareplants.unm.edu/ra... the map on this page has a dot just south of where I am in New Mexico

and a professor says his photos come from the county where I live - Sierra:

I doubt this is the rare one because there are other ones with pink flowers but really have no idea

I do see hundreds of the orange ones and maybe one or 2 pink ones each year growing in the wild
