Cheryl: I'm not real computer savvy, I consider myself technically challenged when it comes to stuff like this but I have a MacBook Pro and I use Safari too. I don't know if all Macs are the same but on my laptop there's a dock area with the Safari logo as well as other logo's i.e. - iTunes, iPhoto, APP Store, Apple - Mac OSX (which I think my husband told me is the operating system?), Skype, iMovieHD, iDVD etc. There's also an icon of a photo of a camera that says ScreenCaptureX; when I click on that icon it brings a little box up on the screen that looks like this:
ScreenCaptureX
Change Preferences
❍ Capture a window
❍ Capture a section of screen
❍ Capture entire screen
❏ Time captured after 10 seconds
(Allows menu capture entire screen only)
❏ Add caption after capture
(Window and section modes only)
Capture
I click on Capture a section of screen and it puts a little dot in the box, then I click on Time captured after 10 seconds and then click on the Icon that says Capture at the bottom. I didn't know it worked but it put the photo of the screen section on my desktop and then I just uploaded the photo as normal.
