Becky:
I am posting a few pictures here of the garden. It's difficult to get a true picture of this garden because it's so long extending from the entrance of the driveway on the lower level all the way to the moat( bridge) which connects the upper road that I live on to my front door. The garden spans the distance in between the upper road and the lower road. I would say its about a 25 ft drop. The stone wall is 4 ft high.
This 3rd picture is the top of the hill, and shows how the slope drops off dramatically, downhill.
4th picture is standing on the wall, and looking uphill at a small portion of the garden.
The 5th and 6th pictures (below) are my perennial gardens in early Spring located in the back of the house but this is the side that looks over the ski area and the mountain ranges in the distance. Terrific views. Pictures taken from my 2nd floor deck.
Last pictures are of my lovely summer deck garden 30 ft up in the air; and lastly the long, snowy Winter with the ski area in the distance. Pictures taken from the deck.
