I'm starting a new flowerbed. I have Daylilies potted up waiting to be planted and have some Daffodils being shipped next week.

If you are (or were) starting a new flowerbed and were going to plant Daffodils and Daylilies, which would you plant first or would you plant the Daffs & DLs at the same time?

Do you plant Tulips and other bulbs in and around the DLs?

What organic stuff do you use to make your soil pliable for planting?

Thanks for your help!

Marilyn
