I had no idea. We do have a Tractor Supply here and I think I will get some alfalfa pellets when spring comes. Our soil here is sadly lacking in everything, red clay, compacted, hardly any earthworms, PH is about 6.2 to 6.5 I need to amend it a lot. My daylilies are doing okay but I am looking for ways to make them happier.
