Leon, sometimes somebody says something like this and it makes me realize that I might be doing just what she wanted me to do. Remembering and sharing. Thank you so much.

I'm glad you read the article, but more important is that you let me know you understood. I wish I could remember everything she and my grandmother taught me, but sometimes the memories come creeping into my mind when the leaves change colors or when they begin to whisper in the wind or when I get a whiff of hickory smoke. And most of the time it's a memory I feel like I need to share.
