I check Wildflower.org and they have it listed as Matelea gonocarpos with Gonolobus suberosus as a synonym.
I wonder which of the names is the most current one?

In any event it is native to Texas as well which makes me very happy.
It seem that with milkweed plants becoming more and more scarce the milkweed vines are going to play a more and more important role in the survival of the Monarchs and Queens.

I have Funastrum cynanchoides which has done very well for us but mine hasn't made seed yet, we shall see. Smiling
