My name is Ted Wnorowski, I am one of the newer members. Weather is an important part of gardening and I volunteer for an organization,
http://www.cocorahs.org . We keep track of daily precipitation amounts around the US and some parts of Canada. I'd like to invite anyone that is interested to sign up and start tracking their precipitation amounts at their location. Cost is minimal for the gauge needed and time is only a few minutes a day.
