FeatherRiverDan, Liquid Fence hangs on even after rains. You'll need to spray it on a nice dry day when there won't be any chance of rain for a day or so. Once it is on the plants it'll be noticeable to the deer but not to you. And trust me, it'll stink to high heaven the first day you spray it!
It's lasted me for 5 or 6 weeks at a time before I've had to respray it. Hope it works well for you, too.
