I grew my Sea Onion from seed this year. One of the seedlings started getting true leaves on it about 4 months ago - the rest still have seed leaves .. Astoundingly, it's blooming! When the flower opened, there was something bothering me about it .. then it dawned on me! No petals! So is there a name for this type of flower that have no petals and only sepals? Or are these sepals?
