I was fortunate to move to a home with lots of mature trees, most of which were fairly well placed. When I first saw the yard here, my thought was that the skeleton for a Cottage garden was already in place. Some were not so well positioned, and had to be removed, but many remain, and provide much needed year round interest and structure for my garden. These Blue Spruce trees are such a nice backdrop for colorful blooms.
